Canary Wharf is London's modern business district.  There is a fabulous array of restaurants, cafes, eateries, bars and pubs, and endless shopping within numerous shopping malls within the local area.

Docklands and Canary Wharf has many fascinating walks and experiences.  The area is surrounded by the River Thames and then has interspersed waterways and docks throughout.  There are many bridges and walkways winding through these features.

The area is a very modern masterpiece.  It has all been built within the last 20 years including Europe's tallest building.  It is a real treat for people who love a modern big city feel.

However, if you fancy something special which is on your door step, thy Tomkyns restaurant within the Pan Peninsula building only 100m down the street.

Designed with New York brasseries in mind, Canary Wharf's Tompkins restaurant is one of the hottest places to dine in London's skyscraper district.

It is also only a 15 minute tube ride into the very heart of London's tourism and history.  There you can find many incredible things such as:

The Tate Britain, one of the UK's grandest art galleries and museums.

The Houses of Parliament and Westminster Abbey.

The beautiful St James' Park, stately Buckingham Palace, the iconic London Eye; and Southbank are all very central also.

Hyde Park, Piccadilly Circus, Soho, The British Museum, the Science Museum and The West End are all within a short tube journey or a leisurely walk from there.
